The Iron Curtain Jr is the system we install most often for iron removal across Northern Minnesota. It uses Hellenbrand's patented air-injection oxidation process to convert dissolved iron into a filterable particle—then traps it in a special media bed. The best part? It does all of this without chemicals, potassium permanganate, or chlorine. That means no chemical taste, no chemical handling, and no ongoing chemical costs.

It's our go-to recommendation for homes where iron is the primary water quality concern. If you also need softening, it pairs perfectly with a separate ProMate 6 softener.

ProMate 6 Iron Curtain 2.0
The ProMate 6 Iron Curtain 2.0 is a separate system from the IC Jr. The Iron Curtain 2.0 features Hellenbrand's next-generation air-injection technology with improved oxidation performance for homes dealing with higher concentrations of iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide. Like the IC Jr, this is a dedicated iron removal unit and does not soften water. For homes that need both iron removal and softening, pair it with a separate ProMate 6 softener.
